Central Valley Brewfest Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary

Turlock, CA – The Central Valley Brewfest takes the spotlight May 13th for its 5-year
anniversary in what promises to be its largest celebration yet. Following its sold out 2016 event,
guests can sample nearly 150 varieties of craft beer, enjoy live music, and purchase food from
Central Valley food trucks – all while raising money for a local non-profit art charity.

This year’s festival introduces a wine tent for the first hour of the event. VIP ticket holders will
enjoy early entry, an opportunity to sample unique beers offered from 12pm-1pm, samples from
local wineries, and a freshly baked baguette provided by Bella Luna Restaurant. Local wineries
include Irish Family Vineyards, Klinker Brick Winery, and Renner Winery.

“Five years is an incredible milestone and we’re thrilled to kick off the 2017 festival season with
the Central Valley Brewfest,” said festival founder Veronica Camp. “The tremendous response
we’ve received over the last four years has exceeded my expectations and proved why the valley
is a perfect location for this annual event. This year our attendees can expect bigger and better.”

The line up of participating breweries continues to grow every year. Guests will have the
opportunity to sample brews from hometown favorites and new additions. Participating local
breweries include Dust Bowl Brewing, Blaker Brewing, Last Call Brewing, and Channel
Brewing. Coming from the bay area will be Devil’s Canyon Brewing, Black Diamond Brewing,
Anchor Brewing, and Golden State Brewing.

Making a stop on the “Host Beautifully” campaign will be the Stella Artois Airstream. A modern
version of an American staple, the Stella Artois Airstream is decked out with all best elements of
your favorite local bars. Adding a new elevated experience to an already amazing festival.

“We are excited to welcome new participants to this year’s celebration,” said Camp. “The craft
beer festival scene is evolving, so it’s fitting that we add new breweries, new food trucks and a
wine element to celebrate our fifth year.”

In an effort to encourage responsible drinking, a designated driver ticket will be available for
$15. DD ticket holders are not permitted to sample alcohol however we have added nonalcoholic
beverages especially for this group.

Stockton charity, Art Expressions of San Joaquin will feature innovative, creative, and fresh art
pieces for purchase. Proceeds will help promote and showcase talented artists who do not have a
dedicated store front in the Central Valley.

The Central Valley Brewfest will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at
Stanislaus County Fairgrounds, 900 North Broadway, Turlock, CA. Passes can be purchased
online at cvbrewfest.com or if still available at the fairgrounds the day of the event. All guests
